It’s hard to believe it’s been almost two months since we launched Chan Supper Club! Time flies when you’re building something exciting, and we hope you’re loving our product and sharing it with friends and family. What’s Next After the Big Launch?
After the exhilaration of launching, the next big question is: What’s next? How do we maintain momentum? We don’t have all the answers, but our focus is clear. We’ll be looking back at all the comments, feedback, and complaints to see what’s valuable and how we can improve. It’s about refining what works while continuing to expand our network and grow the business.
Lessons Learnt: The Shipping Struggle
Shipping has been one of our toughest challenges. We’re always pushing to get your product to you quickly (yes, that’s why you receive shipping confirmation emails at 9 PM — we’re packing late into the night!), but finding a reliable service that fits our budget has been tricky. (So sorry for those of you who experienced damaged and delayed parcels!!)
After talking to others in the industry facing similar issues, we’ve decided to switch to Australia Post. Their broader network will help us get your orders to you faster, but at almost double the cost. This tough decision is necessary to ensure a reliable service.
Introducing Flat Rate Shipping from 15th October 2024
Starting 15th October, we’re introducing a $5 flat rate for orders under $45. Orders over $45 will still enjoy free shipping.
To be fully transparent, shipping costs us $10-12 per package, but we’re committed to absorbing part of the cost to ensure timely, intact deliveries. We hope you’ll understand this change as we strive for a balance between reliable service and reasonable costs.
